Yan Yan couldn’t help but let out a low chuckle.
His laughter was deeply resonant, and Miss Yun blushed even to her neck, hugging him without saying a word.
Yan Yan held her for a while, then let her go, placing her in the seat beside him and fastening her seatbelt.
Miss Yun opened her eyes, "What’s the matter?"
"Sit by yourself."
The man said lightly, then took the laptop back on his lap.
He didn’t continue working but leaned against the chair back and closed his eyes.
Miss Yun’s eyes darted around for a moment, quickly understanding his meaning, and immediately sat quietly without any movement.
After several seconds, she murmured softly, "The beautiful woman is quite the beast."
Yan Yan: "..." His temples involuntarily throbbed.
He hadn’t even done anything yet.
When the car arrived at the Yan Family home, Wang Ma and Housekeeper Chen were already prepared to welcome them, both with smiles on their faces.
Since Yan Yan’s accident, the whole Yan Family had been in a very low mood. Wang Ma and Housekeeper Chen had no time to go out because they were busy maintaining the house’s affairs and responding to Yan Yan’s social interactions and greetings from partners, only relaxing after Yan Yan woke up.
But with the Yan Family mansion having many servants, it was easy for things to go wrong when the master was not home. The two of them had only gone to see him the day he woke up and hadn’t had the chance to go again.
Now, seeing him return from the hospital, Wang Ma and Housekeeper Chen were relieved.
Seeing Yan Yan come out with Miss Yun behind him, Wang Ma exclaimed in surprise, "Miss, you’ve come back too!"
Since that day Miss left, she hadn’t returned, causing some worry!
"Yes."
Miss Yun was very happy to see her as well, regardless of whether it was during her amnesia or before, Wang Ma had cared for her a lot, seeming almost like a family member to her.
As soon as she got out of the car, she released Yan Yan and ran towards Wang Ma, "Wang Ma, I bought so much food. Can you heat it up for me?"
Wang Ma didn’t expect her sudden enthusiasm and promptly smiled, taking the food, "Of course, I’ll heat it up right away."
Housekeeper Chen, watching beside them, increasingly felt Miss Yun had changed.
But he didn’t have time to ponder; he turned to Yan Yan with concern, "Sir, is your health okay?"
"I’m fine," Yan Yan replied calmly, "I’ll recover in a few days here."
Both visibly sighed in relief.
In the living room, Wang Ma went to heat up Miss Yun’s food, and while waiting for the microwave, she stood in the kitchen with Miss Yun waiting beside her, occasionally looking around.
Her expression was extremely lively, making Wang Ma suppress her laughter.
She felt like she was seeing the old Miss Yun.
This thought made her pause for a moment, then she couldn’t help but take another look at Miss Yun.
The day she left and called the man beautiful had made Wang Ma and Housekeeper Chen suspect she might have remembered something, but then she hadn’t returned for days, and Wang Ma dismissed the thought.
Now seeing her like this, she couldn’t help but harbor a bit of hope.
Just as she was thinking this, the microwave dinged.
She put on gloves and took out the food, placing it on the adjacent dining table, "Miss, it’s ready to eat."
On the elegant dining plate were a few skewers of street-bought barbecue, looking quite out of place.
But Miss Yun was very happy, quickly picking them up to chow down.
Wang Ma asked her, "Miss, will you still have dinner?"
Miss Yun replied without hesitation, "Yes."
