Chapter 101 Only the dead don't need to go to the toilet
Chapter 101 Only the dead don't need to go to the toilet
An unsettling heat permeated the air, despite the central air conditioning vents desperately spewing out cool air.
Scorpion sat on the huge black rhinoceros leather sofa, his legs casually propped up on the edge of the coffee table, the crimson liquid in his hand still swirling gently. He didn't look at Qi Tongwei, but instead snapped his fingers towards the bar.
"Rattlesnake, make this beautiful lady a 'Hellfire' drink."
The scorpion's voice was hoarse, as if it had swallowed two pounds of coarse sand.
The young bartender behind the bar shuddered violently. His hand holding the shaker trembled so badly that the ice cubes inside rattled against the sides of the shaker. His face was ashen, and cold sweat trickled down his forehead and dripped into his collar.
But he dared not disobey.
Rattlesnake frantically grabbed several unlabeled glass bottles and poured several strangely colored base spirits into the glass. Finally, with trembling hands, he struck a match and gently lit it on the rim of the glass.
call.
Blue flames rose from the rim of the cup, then turned into a bewitching purple.
The bodyguards behind Scorpion let out a sinister laugh, their eyes looking at him like he was a little white rabbit about to jump into a fire pit.
Rattlesnake walked over carrying a tray, each step seemingly a tightrope walk. He placed the still-burning glass of liquor on the coffee table in front of Ye Cunxin, his head bowed low, not daring to look Qi Tongwei in the eye.
"Try it." Scorpion gestured, his cloudy, yellowish eyes fixed on Ye Cunxin. "This is a local specialty. Drink it, and you'll see heaven."
Qi Tongwei glanced at the glass of wine.
Even without system prompts, he could smell that something had been added. High-purity hallucinogens, or some new type of drug that could make someone lose their mind. These people were up to no good.
Ye Cunxin leaned lazily against Qi Tongwei's chest, her hand adorned with a ruby ring reaching out, her slender fingers gently pinching the stem of the glass.
Her outfit tonight was already incredibly alluring, and now, leaning slightly forward, the snow-white skin on her chest was almost dazzlingly white under the cool lights of the hall. The bright red silk halter dress clung tightly to her curvaceous figure, her waist so slender it seemed as if it could break with the slightest force.
"Honey, I want to drink it."
Ye Cunxin turned her head, her peach blossom eyes shimmering with moisture, the alluring glint at the corners capable of melting one's bones. She parted her red lips slightly, her tongue brushing against her pearly teeth, exuding a natural seduction.
Qi Tongwei didn't say anything, but reached out to tidy up the stray hairs by her ears and pressed a certain acupoint on the back of her neck with his fingers.
This is a special hangover remedy that can temporarily block some nerves and slow down drug absorption.
Ye Cunxin understood immediately, raised her wine glass, and tilted her long, graceful swan neck back.
The throat slides.
She downed the glass of potent "Hellfire" in one gulp.
A few seconds later.
"Um……"
A sweet, low moan escaped from her nose.
The medicine seemed to work very quickly.
Ye Cunxin's originally fair and jade-like cheeks quickly flushed red, like a drunken begonia. Her eyes began to become hazy and unfocused, and her large eyes, which always carried a hint of arrogance, now seemed to be covered with a layer of mist, wet and revealing a kind of vulnerability that was at the mercy of others.
She felt as if her bones had been removed, and she slid down limply.
The red skirt billowed upwards with her movements, revealing her stunningly long legs. Her skin was smooth and delicate, with a faint pinkish glow; against the black sofa, the visual impact was absolutely explosive.
Sweat dripped down her long neck and into her deep cleavage.
She shifted uncomfortably, breathing heavily, one hand unconsciously tugging at her collar as if she couldn't stand the heat.
"It's hot...so hot..."
This appearance would make any man's blood boil.
Scorpion sat bolt upright, his dead fish eyes suddenly becoming frighteningly bright. He slammed his wine glass heavily on the coffee table, spilling most of the red wine inside.
"Good alcohol tolerance."
Scorpion stood up, his greedy gaze like two sticky tongues licking back and forth over Ye Cunxin's body. He strode over, making no attempt to hide his intentions, and stretched out a large, hairy hand to grab Ye Cunxin's slender wrist.
"I can borrow your woman for a moment."
Scorpion grinned, revealing a set of teeth stained yellow from smoking. "Don't worry, if you break one, I'll buy you a new one. Upstairs are all newly arrived virgins, take your pick."
These words were extremely arrogant, showing no regard for Qi Tongwei whatsoever.
In his view, this was his kingdom. He was the only rule here.
Just a second before that dirty hand was about to touch Ye Cunxin's skin.
A long, strong hand suddenly slid in and firmly gripped the scorpion's wrist.
Qi Tongwei remained seated.
But the strength in his hand was astonishing, like an iron clamp, firmly gripping the scorpion's radius bone.
Scorpion's expression froze for a moment, the muscles in his arms bulged, and he tried to break free, but found that the other's hand did not move at all.
"Boss."
Qi Tongwei's voice was flat, revealing no emotional fluctuation. "My woman can't hold her liquor; she's prone to vomiting if she drinks too much. If she vomits on the boss's bed, that would be a real downer."
Scorpion narrowed his eyes, and the scorpion tattoo on his left cheek twisted and contorted with the twitching of his muscles, making it look particularly ferocious.
"You want to stop me?" Scorpion's other hand had already reached for the holster on his waist.
The atmosphere suddenly became tense.
The four bodyguards standing in the corner also raised their guns a few inches, the dark muzzles locked onto Qi Tongwei's head.
Qi Tongwei released his grip and casually wiped his hands on the expensive suit pants, as if he had just touched something dirty.
"I'm not stopping her." Qi Tongwei stood up and helped the already dazed Ye Cunxin up, letting her lean against him. "Everyone needs to use the restroom. This liquor is too strong; she needs to go to the restroom. I'll also go wash my face and sober up."
Scorpion stared at Qi Tongwei for a full five seconds.
Finally, he let out a short, cold laugh and waved his hand.
"Go ahead." Scorpion sat back down on the sofa, picked up a cigar and started cutting it. "Don't keep me waiting too long. My patience is limited. If I don't see you in ten minutes, I'll have someone go to the toilet and fish you out."
He pointed to the two tall female bodyguards standing next to him.
"You two, go with this young lady. Make sure she takes good care of herself and doesn't fall."
The two female bodyguards nodded expressionlessly, then grabbed Ye Cunxin from either side and roughly dragged her toward the women's restroom.
Ye Cunxin seemed to be completely drunk, her head drooping as they dragged her along, her long legs dragging limply on the ground, her red-soled high heels leaving two ambiguous marks on the carpet.
As Qi Tongwei watched their retreating figures, a cold glint flashed in his eyes—a glint only the dead could understand.
He turned and walked toward the men's restroom on the other side.
Zhong Kui, who had always been relatively unknown, followed silently like a ghost, carrying that long black box.
The bathroom door had just closed.
Qi Tongwei, who had previously looked like a high-stakes gambler, vanished completely from his expression in a second. He walked to the sink and turned on the faucet.
The rushing sound of water instantly filled the entire space, drowning out all other subtle movements.
Qi Tongwei looked at himself in the mirror, straightened his tie, and his lips moved slightly.
"That bartender has something on him."
