Chapter 103 Terrifying Enemies
Chapter 103 Terrifying Enemies
Chapter 103 Terrifying Enemies
Chen Tao had a beautiful dream.
He dreamt that Superman was wearing a bat costume, but with Superman elements incorporated, including a large "S" on his chest and a wicked and arrogant expression, striking various bodybuilding poses.
Meanwhile, Chen Tao, dressed in a Hawaiian casual uniform, hid behind Superman's muscular body, staring with dead fish eyes, jumping around like an idiot, twerking, clapping his hands above his head like a gorilla, and shouting with a thick tongue:
"Yay!"
"Not bad at all! Superman as Batman would be really something!"
Superman was surrounded by kneeling villains.
Bane, Lex Luthor, Parasite, Metal Man, Brainiac, General Zod...
Those most dangerous, most terrifying, and most horrifying villains.
At that moment, they hugged each other and cried.
General Zod wiped his tears on Lex Luthor's bald head, while Brainiac, the level 12 intelligence genius, blew his nose with his cloak.
They were shouting things like, "Waaah, Superman is so powerful!" and "We've all been defeated!" Then Superman walked up to them in a cocky, cool, and awesome manner, smirked, grabbed them by the collar, lifted them up, and slapped them one after the other...
All the villains were beaten and howled like big kids in kindergarten. As old disco music from the 70s played, Superman kicked them all into prison one by one, like kicking a shuttlecock.
Chen Tao felt extremely happy after watching it. He put his hands on his hips, looked up at the sky and laughed wildly. Superman also jumped and hopped around next to him, showing off his muscles.
Then, in the next second, blood flowed from Superman's seven orifices.
Superman was still flexing his muscles, and the blood seemed to have no effect on him at all.
Chen Tao began to feel scared. He frantically tried to cover the flowing blood, but the blood continued to gush out from between his fingers and drip onto the ground.
Superman coughed loudly, as if some invisible spear had pierced his chest, leaving a large hole in it, but even so, Superman was still showing off his muscles.
Blood pooled beneath him, forming a small pond. The invisible spear in his chest pierced deeper, blood gushing forth. Yet, he remained like a finely crafted puppet, repeatedly performing the standard bodybuilding pose…
Until he fell to the ground as a cold corpse.
"No! No! No!" Chen Tao screamed, holding up Superman's corpse. "No!"
He looked at his hands, which were covered in blood... Superman's blood.
"How dare you! How dare you steal my peaceful and healthy life—"
"ah--"
Chen Tao roared angrily. He sat up abruptly in bed and saw the flames burning brightly in the fireplace.
He slowly rolled out of bed, staring blankly at the flames. The firelight illuminated the beads of sweat on his forehead and the roars echoing in his ears.
This is Bruce Wayne's mansion in the metropolis. Chen Tao walked to the window and saw the city peaceful in the night.
The nights in the metropolis were so peaceful, a stark contrast to the chaos of Gotham City.
The bright moon shone, the chirping of insects mingled with the starlight, and Chen Tao knew that dawn was approaching...
so good.
He walked to the lamp and opened his laptop. He trusted it more than his Batmobile computer.
He turned to page 1, which read: Superman.
Below is a Superman S-shaped icon, with the words:
Superman's father died.
Chen Tao picked up his pen, drew a slightly unhappy expression next to it, and then continued reading what he had written earlier:
This is terrible. His father taught him until his death that he must protect himself, preferring to die in a storm rather than let Clark reveal his abilities in front of others.
Over the years, every time a young Superman reveals his abilities, he always faces the prospect of moving. Jonathan Kent, though just a farmer, has a love for his son that has gradually honed his counter-surveillance skills to the level of a seasoned FBI agent through constant practice.
No wonder Alfred couldn't find him. Under his father's tutelage, who suffered from paranoia, Clark Kent's counter-surveillance skills were even better than his father's. He even used a alias when checking into the hotel in Metropolis.
He accepted the money I gave him. But this wasn't because he was bought off with money; rather, he knew how to blend in, cleverly and cunningly concealing his differences. I had assumed that, given his superhuman moral standards, he would quietly donate the money to an orphanage.
However, subsequent investigations revealed that he did not do so. This makes sense; it's unlikely that a young farm dweller from Kansas would ignore such a large sum of money, and donating it to an orphanage would be contrary to common sense.
Our Mr. Clark would never allow himself to have such an unreasonable flaw. Damn it, even in this small matter, his self-preservation instincts outweighed his morality.
This isn't the morally perfect person I'm used to. The situation is a little bad.
Below is a question in bold red:
How can I convince him to inherit my identity?
Chen Tao turned to another page and continued writing:
I am Batman.
This will be the last journey of my life. I will find myself a powerful successor, Superman.
However, before I completely end my superhero career, my contact with Superman may still lead me to many extremely dangerous villains.
I'm afraid I'll have to take countermeasures against them.
Chen Tao paused, then continued writing:
Here are some of the villains I might encounter; they are among Superman's most classic enemies.
1. General Zod.
2.…
3.…
And if I want to prepare for them, I should...
Chen Tao shook the pen and wrote for a while longer before standing up.
He descended the steps and saw that Alfred had already prepared a delicious breakfast. Chen Tao sat down and enjoyed it with Alfred.
The atmosphere was harmonious and peaceful, a time of tranquility.
At 8:54 a.m., Chen Tao, dressed in a Batman costume, left the mansion. More than 30 minutes later, Chen Tao appeared in an underground base.
This can't really be called a Batcave yet—though he could call it that. Due to the limited time available, this Batcave in Metropolis, while spacious enough, doesn't have the complete facilities of the one beneath Wayne Manor.
But Chen Tao still ensured the most basic facilities were in place.
He walked down the steps and saw the Mudman, the Death Shooter, the Cheshire Cat, and the Ventriloquist sitting together playing cards.
"It's Batman!"
Harley Quinn approached, dressed in a strange maid's outfit: "Dear Master! Would you like your maid to make you an omelet?"
Then, the next second she ran away upside down, excitedly going to change into another outfit.
Chen Tao turned his gaze to Poison Ivy, who was intently brewing some potions.
Bruce Wayne's deceased parents stood beside her, while Lucius, wearing a ridiculous candle-head mask, stood next to her, assisting her.
"Ah, Batman, you're here." Lucius saw Chen Tao approaching and finally pulled his consciousness out of the experiment like a radish, saying to Chen Tao, "Everything you asked me to do before is ready."
Chen Tao walked past the witch who was conducting a magical experiment with him. Chen Tao noticed that Ivy seemed to have not taken a bath for several days. Her wine-red hair was a mess, like a bird's nest, which was in stark contrast to Harley Quinn, who was playing a game on the Bat computer next to her.
Lucius led Chen Tao around the hall and through the corridor. Before them stood a silver-white training hall.
"Red Sun Weapon".
He said, "It's simple, I weaponized it."
He listed them off as if they were his own treasures: "And there's the kryptonite spear, that material is really hard to polish."
"Kryptonite Smoke Bomb"
Lucius displayed a large number of green grenades.
"Kryptonite bullet gun".
Chen Tao nodded silently.
"Well done, Lucius. These weapons are all necessary preparations." He said, "I have another matter to attend to here, do you know what it is?"
“Yes, I know very well,” Lucius said.
He tapped a few times on the control panel, and then the center of the training field sank down, and a Batmobile was lifted out of the ground and appeared in the center.
Chen Tao slowly took off all his clothes and walked naked towards the Batmobile.
[Dear Batman #52, you have located the Batmobile. The Dark Multiverse Batman "Batmobile" is now ready to be loaded.]
[Load immediately?]
Chen Tao stared at the small, silvery-white characters on his retina.
"Lucius, are you ready?"
"I'm fine, Bruce." Lucius said seriously. He worked on the computer for a while longer, and soon all sorts of cameras and monitoring equipment were pointed at Chen Tao in every corner of the room.
He pressed a button, and a huge pane of glass rose from the ground, separating the two of them.
"We can begin," he said.
Chen Tao nodded.
He faced the Batmobile in front of him and let out a long breath.
【load】
This was a new feature introduced by the Alfred Protocol after Chen Tao's danger level was raised from "None" to F. He had immediately confirmed with Alfred that even an ordinary Batmobile could fulfill the requirements of the "Find the Batmobile" mission.
However, although it didn't seem like a dangerous function, Chen Tao still chose to wait until Lucius and all his cutting-edge instruments were in place before starting to install it.
In short, everything is now in place.
So, it's time. Chen Tao took a deep breath.
Install Now
[Loaded... The Alfred Protocol is now in effect]
Pain, excruciating pain!
In that instant, Chen Tao watched helplessly as the Batmobile in front of him silently melted into a liquid resembling candle wax, and then pounced on him.
The scene was like hot oil being poured on a rat; Chen Tao was caught off guard and let out a scream.
"what!"
Countless flowing metals fused with his flesh and blood, desperately trying to penetrate his small body. Chen Tao felt his mind become crystal clear, and the world before him seemed to have become a fallacy composed of zeros and ones.
No, that's not right. The world isn't made up of data.
Chen Tao shook his head and then found himself kneeling on the ground.
Memories of the Batmobile flooded back, but this time it wasn't like watching a TV show or movie; it was more like… a personal experience.
But it wasn't a big problem. Chen Tao tapped his head twice, making a metallic clanging sound.
He had already seen this memory once before, so this was not enough to shake him.
The pain gradually subsided.
Wait, a metallic sound?
Chen Tao stretched out his hand, and the next second it turned into a wheel.
But there were no silvery-white particles.
His hand rotated and enlarged in an unconventional manner. Bright red muscles and bones surged in his blurred, indistinct hand, then turned into the color of steel and the black of rubber.
His hand turned into a wheel!
And then... the whole body.
"This feels no different from before—" Chen Tao heard Lucius say, "Not yet—"
But the next second, he exclaimed in surprise, "What's going on? I haven't used the computer before!"
"I'm in control," Chen Tao said.
This feeling is wonderful, like traveling in a world of 0s and 1s.
Chen Tao suddenly realized that in the dark multiverse belonging to the Batmobile, the other party completely controlled everything about people by implanting tracking systems on other people's social media and accounts.
After the crowd overthrew him and destroyed his body, he directly uploaded his consciousness into the car.
In essence, the Batmobile is not a car, but an electronic life form... a code ghost!
The enormous vehicle slowly turned its tires. Lucius slowly retreated, and all technological creations crumbled and submitted completely under the gentle caress of the ghost's invisible giant claws.
"God."
He said.
boom!
With a loud crash, Chen Tao and he turned to see Poison Ivy Woman manipulating enormous vines to burst through the door: "Impossible, what is that thing?"
Poison Ivy's hair stood on end, and her eyes gleamed green: "What is that? The green of all things is stirring; something new has been born!"
Chen Tao immediately transformed his body back to its original form. The world began to change again; Zero and One disappeared, and Chen Tao's gaze became profound.
His state just now reminded him of something.
The spirit of metal.
Another realm, alongside the black of decay, the red of all living beings, and the green of all things, is the kingdom of all artificial intelligence and silicon-based life!

……
"Superman saved seven innocent people from yesterday's fire!"
"Superman's motives remain unclear."
"Superman—The Next Stage of Human Evolution!"
Lex Luthor slammed the newspaper down on the table.
"The Daily Planet started spouting this Superman nonsense, and now it's spreading like a plague."
He whispered to the person standing behind him, "How could they be so stupid?"
He swept the tabletop sharply, and the newspapers scattered and fell to the floor.
Lex Luthor walked to the floor-to-ceiling window and stopped.
"How could other media outlets have believed this Superman disguise? I can see them even here... from the sky."
He turned his head:
"I only know Planet Daily, which is happy to report on this, but other media outlets—"
Luther's voice rang out in the office.
"As far as I know, the circulation of Planet Daily has increased by 700% in the past few days because they are the news monopoly of Body of Steel."
"Superman only appeared on camera for that camera kid, and Lois Lane, he only spoke to her."
"But they had no idea. They knew nothing. I'm 200% sure that the monster flying in the sky with the cape wasn't human; I've studied it. They've been in contact with an alien—in a confused and extremely dangerous state."
Luther turned to the man behind him and said, "Your daughter has caused trouble, General."
"My daughter will cause trouble for everyone, Luther." Then he heard the man reply, "Let's talk about our deal."
Lex Luthor's expression softened.
"Very well, as you wish, General Sam Lane!"
