“What I mean is, I will be a qualified father-in-law,” Xue Bai quickly said.
"That's more like it." Chu Xinglan and Ye Xiaoxiao turned back to look at their daughter and son with satisfaction.
Xue Bai noticed that Gu Ye was still staring at him with murderous eyes.
"boss?"
"I'll take care of my daughter myself, so don't even think about it." Gu Ye said, striding over and taking his daughter from Chu Xinglan's arms.
Chu Xinglan and the others were dumbfounded.
"Sir, Madam is now preparing lunch. Will Mr. and Mrs. Xue have lunch here today?"
Qiu Hong spoke up at the opportune moment.
"Yes!" Chu Xinglan quickly said, afraid that Ye Xiaoxiao and the others would leave.
"Then I won't stand on ceremony." Ye Xiaoxiao smiled.
"Why are you being so polite with me?" Chu Xinglan made a face at Ye Xiaoxiao.
Just as Qiu Hong was about to leave, she saw Xiao Ze and Su Ranran arrive.
"She gave birth so quickly?" Xiao Ze exclaimed in surprise.
“Absolutely. For her, giving birth is like taking a piss, but for us, it’s a matter of life and death,” Ye Xiaoxiao laughed.
When Chu Xinglan saw Xiao Ze and Su Ranran walking over hand in hand, she knew what was going on.
"You have one now?" Chu Xinglan asked with a smile.
Su Ranran lowered her head shyly.
"Senior, now you're not worried that I'll steal your wife, are you?" Xiao Ze looked at Gu Ye.
Gu Ye was petting the baby when he looked up and glanced at Xiao Ze.
"You can't take it away even if you want to."
“That’s true!” Xiao Ze nodded, then saw Su Ranran looking at them with a complicated expression.
He quickly took Su Ranran's hand and smiled, "But now I've found true love!"
When Su Ranran heard Xiao Ze say that she was his true love, she suddenly felt enlightened.
"Sister Hong, cook a few more dishes," Chu Xinglan hurriedly said to Qiu Hong.
“Alright, Madam,” Qiu Hong said with a smile.
Qiu Hong was preparing to make lunch when the doorbell rang again. Qiu Hong had no choice but to answer it first. When she opened the door, she saw Grandpa Ming and Uncle Ma standing at the door.
"Grandpa Ming, Uncle Ma," Qiu Hong quickly greeted them.
"Is Lanlan at home?" Grandpa Ming asked.
Before Qiu Hong could answer, Uncle Ma said, "I told you the young lady is out filming and can't be home. If you really want to see her, just call her beforehand. You're being stubborn!"
“Your wife and husband are both at home,” Qiu Hong said hurriedly.
"See, my granddaughter, I naturally have a telepathic connection with her, I know she'll be home."
It seems that Grandpa Ming and Uncle Ma were making a bet. Uncle Ma, true to his word, gave Grandpa Ming a thumbs up.
"You're still the best, old man."
"That's right." Old Master Ming looked delighted.

As Uncle Ma helped Grandpa Ming up the stairs, he seemed to have become decades younger, walking quickly while shouting.
"Grandpa?!" Chu Xinglan was overjoyed and rushed to Grandpa Ming's side, personally helping him up. "Grandpa, what brings you here?"
“Young Miss!” Uncle Ma said.
"Uncle Ma." Chu Xinglan gestured to Uncle Ma.
"Lanlan, Qiuhong just said you gave birth, is it true?"
Grandpa Ming looked Chu Xinglan over and over again, but because Chu Xinglan's pregnancy was not obvious, Grandpa Ming couldn't figure it out either.
“Yes, Grandpa.” Chu Xinglan smiled.
"Is it... Little Pearl?" Although he had heard about the prodigy from his granddaughter, he still couldn't quite believe it until he saw it with his own eyes.
Chu Xinglan smiled and nodded.
"Where is my precious little pearl?" Old Master Ming asked hurriedly.
“Here she is, Grandpa.” Gu Ye brought his daughter over to show Grandpa Ming.
"Let me see, let me see." Grandpa Ming quickly handed his cane to Uncle Ma and reached out to hug Little Mingzhu.
"Grandpa, be careful." Chu Xinglan was afraid that Grandpa Ming would fall.
"You won't fall. I'm so happy to hear that Little Mingzhu was born." Grandpa Ming reached out to tease Little Mingzhu.
"She's so beautiful and adorable." The more Grandpa Ming looked at her, the more he liked her. "Little Ma, look, doesn't our little Mingzhu look a bit like Minghao when he was little?"
Uncle Ma walked over, looked at it carefully, and then smiled and said, "Indeed, he looks a lot like Young Master Minghao when he was a child!"
The young people exchanged glances. They had never seen Young Master Minghao before, but they all felt that the baby was exactly like Chu Xinglan, so Minghao probably looked just like him.
Grandpa Ming, who was happily holding his great-granddaughter, then noticed the young people around him.

When Grandpa Ming heard Ye Xiaoxiao's praise, he was even more pleased.

Time flies, Qiu Hong said as she walked over.
"Let's go have lunch together!" Chu Xinglan quickly invited everyone.
"Lanlan, you just gave birth, are you alright?" Grandpa Ming asked, concerned about his granddaughter's health.
"I'm fine," Chu Xinglan said with a smile.
She and Gu Ye each supported one side of Grandpa Ming as they led him to the restaurant, while the others followed closely behind, chatting and laughing.
