Chapter 151 Don't Believe His Words
Upon hearing this, Yue Yirou looked up and was stunned when she saw the tears in his eyes.
He cried.
"I released Abiao, Yirou, can you forgive me now?" Yan Ye asked, his eyes filled with tears, gazing at Yue Yirou with hopeful eyes.
He would instantly break into his most radiant smile the moment she nodded slightly.
Yue Yirou looked at him, her heart filled with mixed feelings.
"I want to go in and see Abiao," she said hesitantly after a moment.
"Okay." Yan Ye readily agreed, a smile appearing on his face, not the brightest kind, but one that showed his joy.
She said that, so she forgave him, right?
She finally forgave him.
After the two stepped out of the elevator, they ignored the surprised looks of the crowd and walked straight out the door.
The two bodyguards guarding the backyard immediately bowed and greeted them upon seeing them.
"Young Master, Young Madam," the two said in unison.
Yan Ye nodded slightly: "Open the door."
"Yes, Master."
One of the bodyguards extended his thumb and pressed it on the fingerprint scanner, and the iron gate opened automatically.
Yan Ye took Yue Yirou's hand and walked inside.
Thinking of the wolves and dogs inside, Yue Yirou subconsciously tightened her grip on Yan Ye's hand.
Yan Ye sensed her fear, gently patted the back of her hand, and softly comforted her, "I'm here, don't be afraid."
Yue Yirou looked up at him, her expression somewhat complicated, but she still nodded gently: "Mm."
To Yue Yirou's surprise, the wolfhounds inside didn't bark when they saw them go in; instead, they wagged their tails at them—or rather, at Yan Ye.
These large, ferocious-looking wolfhounds wagged their tails at Yan Ye.
Yan Ye smiled at Yue Yirou: "I raised it."
Yes, it's his pet. If it doesn't wag its tail at him, who else will it wag at?
Yue Yirou withdrew the look of surprise from her face and shifted her gaze to the iron cage next door.
Covered in blood, Ah Biao was lying by the iron cage, looking at her with a hint of surprise in his eyes.
Seeing Ah Biao like this, Yue Yirou felt extremely guilty.
If it weren't for helping her, A-Biao wouldn't have been treated as a traitor and subjected to such cruel torture.
"Yan Ye, I want to talk to Abiao alone." There were some things she didn't dare say to Abiao in front of Yan Ye.
Yan Ye initially wanted to refuse outright, but then he remembered the awful things he had said to her, and how hard it had taken for her to forgive him; he didn't want to upset her again.
After hesitating for a moment, he nodded: "Okay, but we can't get too close."
Even though there's an iron cage between us, it's best not to get too close just in case.
After Yue Yirou nodded in agreement, Yan Ye released her hand, stood still, and watched her walk step by step toward the iron cage where Abiao was imprisoned.
Ah Biao has no weapons right now, and he's covered in injuries. There's also an iron cage between them, so he definitely can't hurt her. Don't be too nervous.
Yan Ye looked at Yue Yirou and tried to comfort himself, but it had little effect. He was still so nervous that he wanted to rush over and stay by her side.
But in order not to anger Yue Yirou, he ultimately held back.
"Miss Yue."
Upon seeing Yue Yirou approaching, Abiao spoke excitedly, though his voice was weak.
To reassure Yan Ye, Yue Yirou stopped outside the iron cage, one meter away from Abiao.
His eyes gradually reddened: "Ah Biao, I'm sorry, I've dragged you down and made you suffer."
Ah Biao shook his head: "I don't regret it, Miss Yue, I don't regret helping you and Young Master Yun."
No regrets?
After being tortured like this, don't you regret it?
Yue Yirou felt a surge of emotion.
Ah Biao is truly a rare good person.
"Thank you, Abiao. Thank you for helping me and Tingyun, but I'm sorry to disappoint you. I've married Yan Ye."
When A Biao heard Yue Yirou say that she had married Yan Ye, he lowered his head and sighed deeply, but a strange light flashed in his eyes.
“Miss Yue, may I come a little closer? I have something I’d like to say to you.” Abiao suddenly raised his eyes and looked at Yue Yirou with a sincere expression.
What did Ah Biao want to say to her?
Is it about Tingyun?
Although Yan Ye was quite far away from them and probably couldn't hear what they were saying, she decided to move closer to Abiao just to be on the safe side.
Yue Yirou lifted her foot and began to approach Abiao.
Seeing her approach, Yan Ye's expression hardened. He reached for his waist with his right hand, his eyes fixed on A Biao in the iron cage. If he made a move, he would shoot him dead.
Ah Biao gripped the bars of the iron cage tightly, his gaze fixed on Yue Yirou's slender, fair neck. Just a little closer, and he could grab her.
He knew Yan Ye was watching his every move closely, and he also knew he had a gun, but he was confident that he could act faster than Yan Ye.
Before joining the Starry Night Pavilion, he had won the grappling championship in the organization. His most powerful move was the chokehold, which was fast, accurate, and ruthless!
As Yue Yirou approached, Abiao slowly loosened his grip on the iron railing, poised to strike.
“I persuaded Yan Ye to release you, and he agreed. You can leave Xingye Pavilion soon,” Yue Yirou suddenly said.
Just as A-Biao was about to attack, he heard Yue Yirou's words and gripped the iron railing tightly again.
He looked at Yue Yirou with disbelief, his eyes flashing with a complex light.
Yue Yirou stopped and nodded gently to him: "You've followed Yan Ye for so long, you should know that he's a man of his word. He personally promised me that he would let you go."
"Thank you, Miss Yue." A-Biao said gratefully. "Miss Yue, should I pass on a message to Young Master Yun?"
Yue Yirou shook her head: "No need, but I would like to ask you to check on Tingyun's safety after you leave. As long as he is safe, that's enough."
“Okay, Miss Yue, I will go to find Young Master Yun and, after confirming that he is safe, I will try to get back to you. What I want to say to you is that I lied a bit when I was being interrogated before. If Young Master Yun speaks ill of Young Master Yun to you in the future, please do not believe him.”
"I understand, thank you, Abiao." Yue Yirou nodded. Of course, she didn't believe Yan Ye's bad words about Lu Tingyun.
After chatting with Abiao for a few more minutes, Yue Yirou returned to Yan Ye's side.
Seeing that Yue Yirou had returned unharmed, Yan Ye breathed a sigh of relief and slowly lowered the hand that was gripping the pistol at his waist.
Suddenly, Yan Ye seemed to realize something, and his expression changed slightly.
Oh no, his attention was almost entirely focused on Ah Biao's hands, and he didn't notice what they were saying.
What did they just say?
Yan Ye felt a pang of annoyance.
After Yue Yirou returned to Yan Ye's side, Yan Ye ordered A Biao to be released in front of her.
Back at the villa, Xue Tao and the others, upon learning of this, couldn't help but ask Yan Ye why.
Yan Ye remained silent. After a moment's hesitation, Yue Yirou spoke up, "I begged him to release him."
Everyone turned their gaze to Yue Yirou, but they only stared at her without asking why.
Knowing that she was the one who wanted to put it there, there's no need to ask why anymore.
