Chapter 178 Dima's Conspiracy

On the other side, Nick sneaked back to Arcadia, trying to sneak in to investigate the intelligence.

Although Nick felt more or less happy and excited because it was the first time he saw his so-called brothers in all these years, he did not lose his mind because of this excitement.

After all, Dima locked him up as soon as they met, and even called it protecting him.

Is he protecting him, or is he protecting some secret?

Dima originally wanted to use the same strategy with the Atomic Cult, replacing their high priest with a third-generation synth.

Nick moved towards the door and said, "You killed innocent people and replaced them with synthetic humans. You have begun to be assimilated by the academy!"

With that, Nick looked at Dima expectantly, hoping that he would choose the right path.

But Dima just shook his head and said calmly: "Nick, answer me, what do you think humans are?"

"We can also be called human beings, and we can even create humans. We are the only ones who can save Far Harbor."

"Just the death of one or two insignificant people can maintain this balance. What's wrong with me?"

"Nick, my brother, don't make choices that disappoint me, okay?"

Dima held out his hand and looked at Nick expectantly, hoping that he would join him.

Nick looked into Dima's eyes and some dead memories seemed to be awakening.

He was a little shaken and was about to step forward, but suddenly he thought of something and asked, "So, you want to replace everyone with synthetics? Including my friends."

Dima said, "Are you talking about the Dragon Countryman? Don't worry, I promise that there won't be any problems with his memory transfer. He won't even realize that he is a synthetic human."

"There are too many problems on the island. I cannot let such a powerful and unstable person out of my sight. I believe you can understand me..."

Before he could finish his words, Nick turned around, kicked the door open, and ran away at full speed.

He ran and shouted, "I don't understand one thing! Remember, no one can define human beings. You can't, I can't, and human beings themselves can't define human beings!"

"I won't let you hurt my friends!!"

Dima didn't answer, just watched Nick run away silently.

After waiting for a few minutes, Dima estimated that Nick had almost escaped from Arcadia, so he picked up the communicator and called someone, "Notify Chase and ask her to lead the remaining gunners on the island to the Atomic Society, and then take my memory and the nuclear bomb of the Democracy during the chaos."

"Find a way to restrict Yi Beiwang's actions. Kill him if necessary. Remember, don't hurt Nick."
